Kale and fruit smoothie with fresh aloe

2 large green kale leaves or 1 cup chopped kale
10 frozen strawberries
1 1/2 cup fresh or frozen pineapple
1/2 inch peeled ginger
1/2 cup pineapple or apple juice (sub water to cut sugar)
1 chopped up apple

Makes about 2 large or 3 small glasses

Add everything to the blender. If your lucky enough to have a Blendtec or Vitamix, blend on medium until all the frozen fruit is blended (banging stops) and finish it on high for about 15 seconds. You can make this is a regular blender also just keep blending until it’s smooth.

You can freeze the pineapple ahead of time to make this colder. I prefer mine a bit less frozen it’s easier to drink.
The kids loved this combo , they kept asking for more. I couldn’t taste the kale at all!
