#Steak dinner on a #budget at my house, no #GMOs no #gluten…plenty if fat and flavor, lots of vitamins! Cost about $16 for two adults and two kids plus I added a bottle of Oak vineyard cabernet super cheap $2.99 (unfortunately not organic but I didn’t feed this to my kids) 🙂 Grass fed organic flat iron beef $9.99lb, when you buy grass fed it tastes soooo much better you don’t need expensive cuts. These are tender and very flavorful, I pan seared them in cast iron and added pats of organic butter towards the end.. Also a cabernet butter sauce for the adults. Here we are having oven baked and mashed organic sweet potatoes $2 worth will feed all if us, and pan seared organic asparagus about $3, I also like carrots, broccoli, spinach, etc. You can eat organic on a budget just choose wisely and if your still short on $ try cutting cable TV or other non essential. I rarely get a coupon for organic food but if I do I use it! On the other hand I refuse to eat GM foods even if they are being given away for free.
