Compound #butter for steaks or veggies, adapted from @JamieOliver
I made this from organic heavy cream, I shook it until the butter and buttermilk separated (about 20 min) and then added my herbs/spices and garlic.
You can shortcut by using store bought unsalted organic butter, let it soften a bit on the counter so you can mix it.
1 cup butter
2 cloves garlic crushed and minced
1 teaspoon parsley (I used dried but fresh is always great)
1/2 teaspoon savory (again I used dry)
1 teaspoon sea salt (not table salt)
1/2 teaspoon pepper
Mix thoroughly and chill in desired shape or container. You may choose to make these into balls with a small melon scoop or fill ramekins, mason jar etc.
This is delicious on spinach, steak, sweet potato, carrots on and on….
