Spiced acorn squash with candied seed garnish

2 whole acorn squash, halved and baked for 40 mins @ 375 or tender

Reserve seeds for garnish and snack, clean rinse and pat dry.

Add 1 tbs melted butter and 1 tbsp beyond baked pumpkin pie spice and stir to coat
Bake seeds @ 300 for about 45 mins …set aside to cool

Clean and purée squash

In medium sauce pan add to squash:
4 tbsp organic  butter
1 teaspoon beyond baked pumpkin spice (I recently started making my own spice mixes, use your favorite)
1 tbsp brown sugar

Mix and garnish with seeds serve immediately
