Pineapple upside down cake with fresh pineapple, organic strawberries and homemade whipped cream!  I made this for my son Max’s first birthday.   Looking back I would probably use and orange sliced round for the nose next time so it would be more colorful and obvious.  Also I subbed fresh squeezed orange juice for the pineapple juice and it was delicious, use either one!

    Chris,The recipe isn’t rellay all that hard, as long as you plan it out. It’s worth it, though. I hope you already started if you’re going to make it tomorrow!Steve,Fast food is way overrated You just don’t get the flavor when you hurry things and mass produce them.Kathy,I’ve had lots of carrot cake over the years, but this is my favorite homemade better than any bakery’s version I can think of, too.
