The blondie moment!!!!
…a banana chocolate chip blondie with a peanut butter swirl on top. I had some ripe bananas and I wanted to make something different.
1/2 cup 1 stick unsalted butter softened
1 cup brown sugar
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup banana puree
1 3/4 cups flour
Dash salt
1 cup chocolate chips
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar together next add beaten egg and vanilla mix well, Add banana puree mix well, Add flour stir just until mixed
Fold in chocolate chips
Spoon into parchment lined (that’s how I did it) or greased pan 13×9
Add topping :
2 tablespoons healthy peanut butter or more if you love peanut butter
1 teaspoon butter to smooth it out a bit
Put peanut butter and butter in microwave safe glass or ceramic bowl. Microwave 20-30 seconds and mix until smooth.
Put 6-8 1/2 teaspoon sized blops on top of mix use knife or toothpick to make star or swirl designs connecting the blops but not covering the entire top.
Bake @ 350 about 24 minutes minutes
